Fisherman

Getting gear

To start fishing, you need to buy a fishing rod from one of the fishermen:

• the pier in the northwest of the city;

• the Zancudo Bastion settlement.

Core mechanics

All you need to catch fish is a fishing rod.

The size and rarity of the fish you catch depend on where you fish. The farther you are from the shore and the deeper the water, the bigger the fish you can catch. You can tell the water depth by its color on the map. If you try to fish outside the allowed zone, you won’t catch anything.

To make catching bigger fish easier, you can:

• rent a boat near the city market;

• buy your own boat at the boat shop.

Selling

You can sell fish:

• at the city market;

• to the produce buyer in the Salvation Hill settlement.

Pay

The price of fish depends on your fisherman skill progress and the weight of the fish.
